Health and Wellbeing

Our staff co-ordinate a range of physical pursuits and activities across our sites and beyond.  These are aimed at promoting health, fitness and wellbeing.  Examples include Boccia, indoor bowls, massage, yoga, swimming, cycling, sailing, walking, keep fit, dance, chair based exercises and physiotherapy.  We assist members to maintain individual fitness programmes via local leisure centres, and also run group activities in parks and outdoor spaces.

We aim to expand this service in the near future.  We will assess personal requirements and develop a weekly regime of activity to target interests, abilities, and goals. The service will support individuals to achieve a range of positive outcomes including weight management, improved mobility and wellbeing. Accessible technology will be used to to assess and monitor people’s progress.
